VIDEOGRAPHER (FULL TIME)

Job Description:

  • Shoots footage and assists in video editing
  • Accomplishes the bulk of the technical tasks related to production and post-production
  • He or she will transports, sets up, and operates equipment; and assists with staging, sets preparation and dressing
  • Works closely with the editorial team and sales team to execute editorial and advertorial concepts through to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Determines what camera equipment is necessary and obtains equipment;
  • Transports, sets up, and operates various production equipment including cameras and audio recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production;
  • Operates and maintains proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment;
  • Supports the team throughout the production process, which may include finding interview subjects, creating graphics, and presenting to client and other constituents;
  • Helps to sustain and guide creative process;
  • Assists in developing interview questions and storyboards; and
  • Ensure all videos or pictures are appropriate and ready in time to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Advertising/Media or equivalent;
  • Has a passion in videography;
  • Open to Fresh Graduate or with at least 1 or 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field in any types of industries;
  • Willing to work overtime;
  • Good work ethics, ability to work under pressure, work fast and organized;
  • Good communication, able to coordinate effort of others, team player; and
  • Basic writing skill is a plus (in English and Bahasa)

Specific Requirements:

  • Shooting skills: familiar with Canon EOS 7D, 6D, & 5D DSLR Camera.
  • Software skills: familiar with Apple Macintosh, Final Cut Pro 7, Soundtrack Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effect (is a plus), and Microsoft Office as well.

 


MARKETING MANAGER

The Marketing Manager will report directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing. The position’s responsibilities include developing, establishing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives; effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the organization.

 Essential Functions: 

  • Branding and Promotion Activities
    • Expand and develop marketing platforms through partnerships with third parties e.g. TV, radio, online publications, malls, etc.
    • Create and manage branding content and coordinate production process.
    • Maintain branding schedule and budget throughout the year.
    • Work closely with editorial and production teams.
  • Event Activation for Existing Clients
    • Create events and activation based on clients’ briefs.
    • Planning, budgeting, and execution of events from sourcing vendors for decoration, venue, talent, database invitation, design and multimedia, until finalization of post event reports.
    •  Work closely with sales and editorial teams.
  • Media Partnership
    • Handling incoming proposal for media partnership from clients.
    • Sourcing attendees for the clients’ events.
    • Make sure all the clients’ benefits are delivered as agreed.
    • Make sure the company’s brands are promoted in the events.
  • Digital Marketing Activities
    • Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the company websites and social platforms.
    • Developing and managing campaigns and activities to raise brand awareness and gain new audience.
    • Review new technologies to ensure the company stays in the forefront of developments across online and social platforms.

  Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum three years’ experience, with managerial experience.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Online Editor

The successful applicant will be providing administrative support to the Editor, providing support on a variety of projects, handling editorial enquiries, filing, controlling the flow of editorial material, administering a busy mailbox to ensure that all queries are responded to compile data for report, and maintaining data base.

Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Chief Editor. The successful candidate will manage day to day editorial selection and editing for online content with daily deadlines for DestinAsian.
  • Contribute to developing and coordinating the online presence aspect of the magazine.
  • Involve in content management and regular updates. Manage the magazine’s social media platforms.
  • News sourcing, writing, editing and SEO headline writing to keep the website current.
  • Upload copy, photo, video and other information to the Website and social platforms, following set targets of posts per day

  Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years experiences of digital publishing previously as an Online Writer/Editor for English articles of travel topics.
  • Strong nose for news, high level of creativity.
  • Excellent English writing, editing and proofing abilities.
  • Solid grasp of web editing experience, good understanding of WordPress, demonstrable feature writing and feature editing skills, hands-on experience of Photoshop for image resizing for the web.
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills, be capable of prioritizing numerous projects with little supervision.
  • This position will be full time & based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

 


Digital Marketing Manager

The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for facilitating the accomplishment of the company’s vision and values by maximizing the size of the website email lists, utilizing SEO campaign development, registration process optimization, partnerships, contests, promotion, social media presence and list segmentation management.

Responsibilities:

SEO:

  1. Develop, Execute, Analyze and improve SEO campaigns for all registration-focused sites following the Mequoda freemium-based SEO campaign process.
  2. Oversee Search engine penetration in major search engines; ensure we have optimized search engine site maps to facilitate speed and depth of search engine indexing.
  3. Guide editors and marketers on top terms to use to maximize search rankings.
  4. Track SEO effectiveness using GVR process, SEO referrals, Search Engine Penetration reports and other available resources.

Registration: 

  1. Optimize the registration process for all websites. Regular testing of member joining offers. Track conversion rates though each step of the Conversion process funnel.
  2. Develop effective registration process for new platforms that [Company] publishes on to convert viewers into buyers.
  3. Develop and execute viral marketing contests and strategic partnerships to increase newsletter lists.
  4. Manage the process to add any Bulk List Adds to the newsletter list – including source coding them to track their performance.
  5. Manage the process to reactivate members based on inactivity period reporting.

Reporting/Analysis/Other:

  1. Reporting/Analysis: produce or work with others to produce the activity and trending reports needed to track all above job responsibilities including providing necessary metrics to upper management.
  2. Develop a Social Media program for all communities for all key existing and new social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, RSS, etc.)
  3. Promote all Community newsletters using house print and web product channels and Corporate Publicity.

Competencies:

  • Strong combination of creative and analytical skills to both create promotions and analyze them
  • Strong project management skills to achieve program implementation schedule adherence while working with internal groups.
  • Ability to develop mutually beneficial strategic proposals and implement programs with market group partners.
  • 2+ years’ experience developing new member newsletter registration and retention programs, demonstrated experience to develop and execute SEO campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of list development, management and segmentation.
  • Knowledge of [special interest or niche market] within a multi-platform media company.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to communicate programs, strategies and results internally.

Lead Web Developer

Responsibilities:

  • The Web Application Developer will reports to PUBLISHER and is responsible to develop new Web Applications as identified by Supervisor and/or Management through packaged and customize applications. Create a Company-wide Intranet, allowing data manipulation for each internal staff member.  Maintain and enhance existing Web applications and all internal systems are integrated. 
  • Perform complete testing of Web applications–unit and system. Engaging users as necessary. Conduct all user acceptances testing, and report results.
  • Design and implement user-driven templates, databases and interfaces for ease of use.  Develop database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing. Develop external Web portals allowing users to input and retrieve accurate information.
  • Participate in dynamic priority setting sessions as the summer season unfolds.
  • Provide high quality work in web design and web development. In addition, you might also require quickly learning and mastering new technologies, implements web pages, maintains content and oversees day-to-day management of the company website, and assures quality and filing integrity of web pages

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 year plus experience in the same position with Digital Analytics experience.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as a team.
  • Able to interact effectively with users at all levels and deliver within tight deadlines. 
  • Fast Learner and like to explore new technologies. 
  • Excellent knowledge of Hardware and Software.
  • Experience in building rich web interfaces and architectures and proven experience of web development technologies and frameworks.
  • Strong in PHP, MySQL, HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and Jquery.
  • Having good knowledge in Web 2.0 and Content Management System and mobile applications would be a plus.
  • Experience in design using Flash and Photoshop. Knowledge of mobile platform is a big plus
